After trading Cutter Gauthier to the Anaheim Ducks shortly after he was named the Best Forward at the World Junior tournament, Philadelphia Flyers fans clamored for the player Briere received in return: Jamie Drysdale.
Drysdale impressed early, showing off his high-end skating and puck moving that made him the 6th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
But an injury and lack of production hampered his introduction to Philly and now fans are split on Drysdale’s upside, and if he was the right player to get back for Gauthier.
