CPI for July 2024

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.2 per cent on a seasonally adjusted basis, after declining 0.1 per cent in June, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. 🔥 A recent transaction uncovered by Arkham Intelligence revealed that 10,000 bitcoins, linked to the Silk Road, have been moved to Coinbase Prime. Arkham shared on X that these bitcoins, worth $593.5 million, were transferred from a U.S. government wallet to a Coinbase Prime deposit wallet. The transaction was executed with a fee of 6.28 satoshis per virtual byte (sat/vB), slightly above the current priority transfer rate of 6 sat/vB.
