ARYA: This Comic Broke My Heart
Description
Just had a very productive conversation with my kids about the dangers of lesbian witches in comics (and the people that create them). Good parents keep bad things away from their children. Great parents teach their children how to combat evil.
Comic book writers like Kelly Thomson and Tee Franklin are taking beloved and well-known children's properties and distorting them, making them into perverted versions of themselves while introducing all types of sexual deviance and mental illness. They're not responsible for this particular project. This was more of a group effort, perpetuated toward the beginning of 2017 by what appears to be Tumblr artists. It was a well-intentioned and good-hearted attempt to showcase Indie creators. But what we ended up getting was an LGBT parade of sexuality cloaked and arrested development, with plenty of mental illness to go with it. And the worst part is that I almost gave it to my kids.
