Christopher Scholtes had been charged with 2nd-degree murder and child abuse in the death of his daughter, Parker Scholtes, in July. This week, Scholtes pleaded not guilty to an upgraded charge of first-degree murder and child abuse. Body camera footage of Scholtes’ arrest was also released that shows him breaking down as police took him into custody.
