Pastor James gives us a slightly different Pentecost message this year, looking at Jesus' interaction with the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well. He emphasizes the simplicity and sufficiency of the life Jesus desires to give to us, His heart drawn out to us in gentleness and love - and because of this love confronting us with our sin. Pastor James stresses our need to not get caught up in too much knowledge and trying to understand everything, but to simply come to Jesus and ask - and be prepared to walk in obedience to the things He has already revealed to us. Pastor James also gives some pointers for us to gauge how we are doing in our spiritual life and encourages us: It's never to late to make a fresh start with Jesus!
