Ep. 639: Burly And... Randy Orton?! Lead The Way In Fedde's Home Debut At Busch

Season 4 Episode 639 Published 1 year, 10 months ago
Description

Brenden Schaeffer discusses the Cardinals 5-2 win over the Rays on Wednesday night at Busch Stadium as Erick Fedde did what he had to do in his home debut as a Cardinal.

Fedde had to grind through a couple long innings but he limited damage and got through 5 innings of one-run baseball to set the Cardinal bullpen up for success in the late innings.

A key component of the win was the Cardinals coming through with a few clutch hits with RISP -- one of those hits came from Alec Burleson who swung the bat great all night, possibly being fueled by meeting a childhood idol before the game?

We'll explain how Randy Orton influenced the Cardinals win and go into the clubhouse to hear from the always entertaining Burly!
