Back to EpisodesUS and Russia take part in largest prisoner swap since Cold War
Description
In one of the largest prisoner exchanges between Russia and the West since the end of the Cold War, twenty-four prisoners from seven countries were released from Russian captivity yesterday, including journalist Evan Gershkovich and former US Marine Paul Whelan. But while those released from Russia were innocents held for false crimes, the eight prisoners released back to Russia were all convicted criminals. In an unfair and fallen world, God calls us to look beyond the sin to his callings for us.
