Swami Shailendra Saraswati was born in 1955, in Gadarwara (M.P.) as Osho's fifth brother. In 1971, he joined the Neo-Sannyas Movement. He was the university topper at Sagar University in 1973. In 1979, he completed his M.B.B.S. from Jabalpur Medical College and married Ma Amrit Priya Ji in the same year. Until 1981, he served at the hospital in Shri Rajneesh Ashram, Pune. He stayed in Rajneeshpuram until 1985. After that, he worked as a medical officer at Birla's O.P.M. Hospital. During Osho's last days, he returned to Pune. In 2019, he established Osho Fragrance.
