מָצְאוּ פִּתְקָא כְּתַב יַד קֹדֶשׁ הַצֶּמַח צֶדֶק וְתוֹכְנָהּ

A handwritten note was once found in which the Tzemach Tzedek recorded

שֶׁהֶחְלִיט לִלְמוֹד בְּכָל יוֹם שֵׁשׁ שָׁעוֹת בַּלַּיְלָה בַּעֲמִידָה נִגְלֶה

his resolve to study six hours of nigleh every night, while standing.

וְתּוֹדָה לָאֵ-ל שֶׁקִיֵּם

[As the note concludes,] he carried this out, thank G‑d,

וְעָבַר עַל שַׁ"ס בַּבְלִי וִירוּשַׁלְמִי

and reviewed in depth the entire Talmud Bavli, the Talmud Yerushalmi, 

וְאַרְבָּעָה חֶלְקֵי שֻׁלְחָן עָרוּךְ בְּעִיּוּן

and all four parts of the Shulchan Aruch.
