Preseason football is underway as Mississippi State opened preseason work Thursday. Coach Jeff Lebby had his own debut first-session with his first Bulldog team and came away satisfied with the effort and energy. He praised the retention from spring ball while making entirely clear this team has so far to go before being game-ready. The post-practice interview with Lebby is attached. Also, Bulldog baseball has lost a pair on the last day for drafted players to sign with Major League Baseball clubs.
