Conservative media figures who were in a coma during 2022 and during the presidential and congressional primaries are suddenly realizing that Trump is veering left and could lose the election anyway. Today, I give a long view of how we got to this point but also a way forward. Now is the time to push Trump on message before it’s too late. But concurrently, all those organizations involved in Project 2025, which Trump just crushed, should take their resources and concoct an agenda for red-state governance. That way, no matter what happens in November, we will have a landing place for liberty in 2025 and an independent, smart, principled movement from which to rebuild nationally thereafter.
