When I was a young Christian and a police officer, I drove past an old church one day, and I felt a deep sadness. It made me realize that the church had lost its passion for God, but God never lost His heart for His people. 

Let's remember to keep our hearts ignited with God's love and actively engage in prayer, worship, and acts of love. We are the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, and God values our labor of love. Let's purposefully seek to glorify Him in all we do and keep our first love above all things.
