Chicago is the first American city to stage J.R.R Tolkien’s epic adventure, The Lord of The Rings. But this version, now at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, is a musical. WBEZ’s Mike Davis has more on how the epic story was remade for the stage. The production runs through September 1.
