In chapter 3 Sir Pellias holds true to his promise to declare Queen Guinivere to be the most beautiful queen while outside the castle of the knight of the green sleeves- and winds up being treated to a dinner within the castle where he is persuaded to give up his enchanted necklace - after which troubole follows.
In chapter 4, back in Camelt, Sir Gawaine insults the Queen and is banished from King Arthur's realm, whereupon he setws out on a journey of adventure with his comrade Sir Ewaine and eventually finds Sir Pellias.
