2024 SEASON:

• Transferred to NC State in January of 2024

2023 SEASON (AT COASTAL CAROLINA):

• Threw for 10,005 yards in 42 games at Coastal Carolina.

• Notched 88 touchdown passes vs. just 14 interceptions.

• Named a 2023 College Football News (CFN) All-American honorable mention, he was a HERO Sports’ Group of Five All-American second team performer.

 The 2023 Preseason Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year

• Threw for 1,919 yards in 2023.

• Also named to the preseason watch lists for the Manning Award, Maxwell Award, Unitas Award, Davey O’Brien Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year.

2022 SEASON (AT COASTAL CAROLINA):

• Named the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year for the third consecutive season - a Sun Belt Conference record

• Earned first-team All-Sun Belt honors for the third straight season.

• Started all 11 games he played in, he missed two with an injury.

• Completed 70 percent of his passes (207-297),  gaining 2,700 yards and throwing for 24 touchdowns with only two interceptions. That TD-to-INT ratio was among the FBS leaders.

• Threw a touchdown pass in 23-straight games over two seasons.

• Ranked in the top 40 in all of NCAA Division I FBS in several offensive categories: passing efficiency (3rd, 171.4), completion percentage (3rd, 69.7 percent), yards per pass attempt (5th, 9.09), points responsible for per game (18th, 16.4), passing touchdowns (29th, 24), passing yards per completion (30th, 13.04), points responsible for (32nd, 180), and total offense (40th, 263.2 yards per game).

• Led the Sun Belt Conference in completion percentage, passing efficiency, points responsible for per game, and yards per pass attempt

• Served as a team captain for the Chanticleers.

• A semifinalist for the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award, he was a member of the Davey O’Brien QB Class of 2022

• Earned a spot on the 2022 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Top 25 list.

2021 SEASON (AT COASTAL CAROLINA):

• Awarded the 2021 Blanchard-Rogers Trophy (South Carolina’s Heisman).

• Broke the NCAA Division I FBC record for passing efficiency  - his 207.6 rating eclipsed the records set by Alabama’s Mac Jones (203.1) in 2020 and LSU’s Joe Burrow (202) in 2019

• Completed 73 percent of his passes for 2,873 yards and 27 touchdowns with only three interceptions.

• Posted several CCU single-season records: completion percentage (73.02), passing efficiency (207.6), yards per completion (16.3).

• Also posted some of the best marks in school history other categories: TD passes (2nd, 27), passing yards per game (2nd, 261.2), passing yards (5th, 2,873), pass completions (6th, 176). 

• The 2021 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference performer.

• Tabbed the 2021 Pro Football Network (PFN) Sun Belt QB of the Year.

• A semifinalist for the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award and the Maxwell Award. He was a member of the Davey O’Brien QB Class of 2021.

• A 2021 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award - Top 10 Finalist.

• Picked up Cure Bowl MVP honors by going 22-for-30 for 315 yards and four touchdowns versus the Huskies

2020 SEASON (AT COASTAL CAROLINA):

• Named the 2020 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year. 

• Also was a first-team all-conference performer.

• Named the 2020 Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Most Inspirational Freshman.

• Earned a spot on the 2020 Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All-American team

• Named to The Athletic’s 2020 College Football Freshman All-American team

• A 2020 Manning Award finalist, he was a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award, the Davey O’Brien award and
