In worship culture, the concept of "excellence" carries a lot of emotions along with it.
For some, it was used to justify overworking or demanding perfection from people.
In other environments, it's become an idol where basically people are expendable all for the sake of the church service and the ministry.
Although it's a concept that's easy to abuse, excellence is still something that we're called to.
Not only is it something we are called to, but when done purely it's a powerful expression of worship.
So what does it look like to healthily engage with excellence?
