Description
The plaintiff says the defendant is his ex-girlfriend, and he helped her get a leased car. He claims she crashed the vehicle and pocketed the insurance money, but he’s the one responsible for the repairs. He’s suing her for the amount he has to pay. The defendant says the insurance check got stolen and the plaintiff paid the repair shop on his own.
The plaintiff says he rented space in the defendant’s warehouse, and the man let people in who ransacked the place. In addition, the defendant tossed out his belongings, so he’s suing for the value. The defendant says the rental area was an open space. He claims the plaintiff stopped paying rent and abandoned his stuff. He’s countersuing for the cost of removing the plaintiff’s items.
