Join me in The Red Treehouse as we explore a fascinating--and disturbing--true crime urban legend: Clara Crane, The Candy Lady. In the late 1890s, Clara Crane committed an awful crime against her husband; then, nearly a decade after--and just a few years after her release from a mental health hospital--children in Terrell, Texas, began disappearing. They'd received a piece of candy on their windowsill, with a signed note stating, "From the Candy Lady."

Is Clara Crane, the infamous Candy Lady, nothing more than an urban legend? Or is she truly guilty of committing horrific acts of violence?
