In this episode, I chatted with an unsung Bitcoiner from Far North Queensland, a real self-custody guru by the name of Codey Martin.

Codey is an ex-military man and Brazilian Jiu-Jitusu expert who is also the first mentor to join the Bitcoin Mentor Australia team. He’s got a cracking story as to how he got into Bitcoin and in this discussion, shares his thoughts on self-sovereignty and best practices, amongst other things.

There’s a deep connection between martial arts and Bitcoin if you look hard enough – proof-of-work embodies both, so we spoke a fair bit about that too, which I love.
