On June 24th, 1996, a homeless man was picking his way through a dumpster on the streets of downtown Boston when he came across an unusually heavy garbage bag. When he tore it open, what he found inside sent him sprinting down the street, terrified & screaming for help. His discovery launched an investigation into the death of a brutally murdered 19-year-old woman that remains one of the most infuriating and bizarre cold cases the Boston Homicide Unit has ever been faced with.
