Don't engage in analysis paralysis about your kratom quit. After her husband was shot in Iraq a decade plus ago, Frankie started abusing pain pills prescribed to her spouse.  Eventually, she started having kidney issues, liver spots on her skin and hair falling out.  Also abusing benzos and booze, she was able to finally quit after joining a WhatsApp group. To say off kratom, she goes to AA meetings in person and has a video of her horrible withdraw on hand to watch if she gets an urge to use kratom.
