305: A 4 Week Vacation® Veteran’s Perspective on Empowering Her Team and Work-Life Balance with Sarah Martin
Description
Today’s guest has taken a 4 Week Vacation® (it was actually for five weeks!) She knows the value of setting up a business so that work supports life and not the other way around, and she sees firsthand the impact on herself, her business, her team, and her family. We welcome Sarah for her third appearance on the Profit by Design podcast!
Sarah Martin is the president and co-owner of Cabin Works, a property maintenance and cleaning company in the rural mountain town of Granby, Colorado. She and her husband, Phill, started Cabin Works over 10 years ago to provide peace of mind to busy and absentee property owners needing a reliable, professional, and trustworthy property maintenance company.
Sarah and her team strive to foster a workplace culture of family involvement and work-life balance at Cabin Works through flexible, kid-friendly, and remote work opportunities. They enjoy providing family activities for their team members throughout the year to show appreciation for their team’s hard work. They also love giving back to their community through donations and volunteering. When not working with their team, you can often find Sarah, Phill, and their three young children, Alivia, Mia, and Asher exploring the Colorado mountains on their skis or mountain bikes.
Profit by Design is a Tap the Potential Production.
