The fireworks set for the Gallipolis River Recreation Festival's on July 4 were cancelled and there's a lot of blame being passed back and forth between the Gallia Chamber of Commerce and Grand Finale Fireworks of East Cleveland, Ohio.
Dave Miller examined the situation on the July 9 episode of the Final Cup on WMOV. We'll hear comments from chamber executive director Bob Hood from the 4th of July announcing the cancellation and the reasoning behind it; and we'll hear an interview by Tom Susman with Nic Carmagano of Grand Finale with a different story on why the event didn't happen.
