An alumnus from the early batch of students of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, B Panda was fortunate to join Bhagawan's college way back in 1979. His parents came to Swami in 1972 albeit reluctantly but soon Bhagawan became the centre of their lives and his father wanted him to become a Sai student. Panda in this narration recalls how quite mysteriously he became a student at His lotus feet and also the precious opportunity of his sacred thread ceremony that Swami did personally for him in a way that remains his life's strongest source of strength, courage and goodness.
