We Catholics have a wonderfully systematized faith, and there's a danger there – it's possible to partake in all the sacraments, and check off all the Catholic “boxes,” while our hearts are not open and receptive to what is being offered there. To receive the grace of the Holy Spirit, we must be vulnerable and open with the Lord, bringing our true selves to Him every time. Reality Himself will only move through what is real, so bring your weak, messy self to prayer and let the Savior save you.
