The calendar has rolled to July, which, meaning Penn State Football training camp is just around the corner. Today, we preview the upcoming season by discussing Blue White Illustrated's exclusive interviews with several prominent Penn State football players. Nate Bauer and Sean Fitz spoke with quarterback Drew Allar and center Nick Dawkins this week and we let you in on those converstaions during today's BWI Live Show. He'll also discuss the news from Monday that one of Penn State's top receiver targets, Matthew Outten, chose Virginia Tech over the Nittany Lions. What happens next for the team's recruiting efforts at wide out?

Finally, Fitz will preview the upcoming commitments that will decide the final push for Penn State recruiting. How will Lex Cyrus' decision affect the team's outcome? He'll also preview Taz Williams, Randy Adirika, and LaVar Arrington II.

Penn State offensive leaders sit down with BWI

Penn State starting quarterback Drew Allar sat down with Bauer for a season preview last week and Baur joins the show to discuss his big-picture takeaways from that conversation. One topic that came up was Allar's willingness or hesitancy to run the football, which is a feature in new offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki's offense. How did Allar respond to that question?
