Sometimes anxiety stems from thinking about all the worst case scenarios, entertaining failure or trying to brainstorm back-up plans for things not going well.  This often begins when we've experienced very real reasons to fear our reality and thus our need to control our future works overtime–so that horrible experience will never happen again.   • If that person doesn't keep their word
  • If that boss demonstrates disrespectful behavior
  • If that plan takes a turn and looks nothing like the plan
  • If that friend betrays you
  • If that opportunity falls through
  DECIDE THAT YOU WILL LIVE FROM PRINCIPLES AND NOT FEELINGS SO YOU CAN RESPOND WELL TO THESE MOMENTS VERSUS BEING TAKEN OUT BY THEM.   Decide that you're not backing down when things shift.  Decide to be all in for real.
