People are hip to fake reviews. The general public is not that stupid when it comes to reviews.
Review swaps result in really horrible reviews that are NOT helpful to the potential listener. A good review has details as to why something was good or bad.

Reviews are social proof - and that's it.
When your audience isn't leaving you reviews, you might want to check on your content or your relationship with your audience.
It takes courage to look at your content, and see if there is room for improvement.
