DO NOT ALLOW THE LACK OF CERTAIN BLESSINGS IN LIFE TO KILL YOUR HAPPINESS IN THE LORD Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:11-13 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Man can shape circumstances, but circumstances should not be allowed to shape the man. We should seize upon circumstances as instruments with which to work. We are to master them, but should not permit them to master us. – {Gospel Workers p. 292.2} Men of power are often those who have been opposed, baffled, and thwarted. By calling their energies into action, the obstacles they meet prove to them positive blessings. They gain self-reliance. Conflict and perplexity call for the exercise of trust in God, and for that firmness which develops power. – {Gospel Workers p. 292.3} ‭‭ THE SHUNAMMITE WOMEN WAS HAPPILY CONTENT IN LIFE EVEN WHEN SHE HAD NO CHILD 2 Kings‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭17‬ ‭GNT‬‬ “One day Elisha returned to Shunem and went up to his room to rest. Elisha asked Gehazi, “What can I do for her then?” He answered, “Well, she has no son, and her husband is an old man.” “Tell her to come here,” Elisha ordered. She came and stood in the doorway, and Elisha said to her, “By this time next year you will be holding a son in your arms.” “Oh!” she exclaimed. “Please, sir, don't lie to me.
