The tropical Atlantic is heating up with activity in a zone that is atypical for so early in the season with at least one system that may pose a threat to the Caribbean as a tropical storm or hurricane. Also, a man died after being struck by lightning on a New Jersey beach Sunday while trying to warn other beachgoers of an incoming storm.
