His presence at any event guaranteed a spectacle, as he seemed to possess an almost supernatural ability to defy the laws of physics. Yet, as the adage goes, "what goes up, must come down." Because beneath the surface of Gator's seemingly perfect life, darker issues lurked. Personal struggles and erratic behavior began to overshadow his achievements, and the same intensity that once fueled his success on the ramps drove him to commit a heinous act of brutality against an innocent 21-year-old woman named Jessica Bergsten.
