He teamed with Magic Johnson at Michigan State to win the 1979 NCAA basketball championship, defeating Larry Bird and Indiana State in the title game. A number one draft choice of the Detroit Pistons, Kelser played six seasons in the NBA. For decades now, he has served as the TV analyst, working alongside George Blaha on Pistons games for Bally Sports Detroit. Importantly, he is a man who gives back to his community.
