John was a 1st time offender. His story is unique. His fishing business had fallen on hard time and he made some questions decisions. For his completely non-violent crime John was sentenced to LIFE, without parole
You might remember hearing about John's story, his wife June was on to advocate for his clemency is August of 2020. Thankfully John was granted clemency by President Trump October 21, 2020.
