Have you ever hummed while someone was talking to you? I am working with  a couple and he was humming while she was talking Not very effective  communication. She kept repeating the same thing in different words and  he was just done with the conversation. We have all been there, done  with the current conversation . Quality conversations get to the point  quickly. Research says that after the third senttence what you are  saying can't be remembered anyway.
