✝️ The Vatican Library has launched an innovative initiative aimed at safeguarding its manuscript collection by offering NFTs as incentives to donors and social media participants. Official info here https://lnkd.in/d5B_gzuD The Vatican Library is tapping NFTs to fortify its online following, bringing new meaning to the term “soulbound token” for users in Italy. They announced a partnership with NTT DATA Italia to distribute NFTs to supporters of its manuscript collection.
Users in Italy can participate by sharing the “Web3 Support Project” on social media until July 16 to receive a Silver NFT, granting access to 15 manuscripts.

❗ Chinese telecom provider Coolpad plans to invest $13.5 million in Bitcoin mining rigs for North America. They intend to acquire 2,700 Bitcoin mining servers from Hong Kong-based JingYun Intelligent Technology, though the manufacturer of the servers was not specified. This investment will boost Coolpad’s current computing power from 873,000 TH/s to approximately 1,504,800 TH/s.
