Description
Supernatural Season 6, Episode 17, My Heart Will Go On recap 🚢 Balthazar saved the Titanic (because he hated the Céline Dion song), and now the boys are living in an alternate timeline where Ellen and Jo are alive, Bobby is married to Ellen, and Fate herself (Katie Walder) is killing off everyone who shouldn't exist, on Denim-wrapped Nightmares, a Supernatural rewatch podcast.
It opens with some full-on Final Destination shit: a man, a busted garage door, a moving beer bottle, marbles, golf balls, and our 44th blood splooge of the series. Bobby is grieving Rufus in the bottle, the boys are driving a Mustang (wait, WHAT?), and Ellen comes home with groceries, talking about a hunt with Jo, and teasing Bobby that it’s why he married her (wait, WHAT?). Turns out Fate's victims all descend from Titanic passengers, the first mate was named I.P. Freely, and the man in the crew photo has a familiar deep V.
Episode Highlights:
- ELLEN (Samantha Ferris) AND BOBBY, MARRIED. We need a spinoff.
- Dean's disastrous genealogy interview (ties to Nazis? Really?)
- A copier, a scarf, and a very good on-screen death
- Balthazar: You must have me mistaken for that other angel, you know, the one who's in love with you. (WE SCREECHED.)

In the lore segment, we dig into Atropos, the Fate who cuts the thread of life: the eldest of the three Moirai with her sisters Clotho and Lachesis, daughters of Nyx, goddess of night, stern and shears in hand. (She's very serious about her job. Very.)
