On 6 May, SPH announced that it was spinning off its media business into a non-profit arm. At the press conference, the SPH CEO lost his cool and created the buzzword of the year in "umbrage". More controversial details have emerged of how the SG government will support SPH's plans, including bringing ex-minister Khaw Boon Wan back as the chairman of the new entity. Elsewhere, someone on the MRT was filmed not wanting to wear a mask. People were calm, unlike the other confrontations that happened. Even the PM issuing a statement! WTF is going on?
