Description
IT IS NOT ONLY THE RICH THAT ARE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE WELLBEING OF SOCIETY AND THE CAUSE OF GOD, ALL HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY! EVEN IF YOU MAY HAVE VERY LITTLE GOD CAN MAKE IT GO FAR IN BLESSINGS OTHERS John 6:5-9 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 6And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. 8One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, 9There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? LITTLE IS MUCH IN THE MASTER’S HAND‼️ FIVE THOUSAND WERE FED WITH A LITTLE BOY’S LUNCH Mark 6:41-44 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all. 42And they did all eat, and were filled. 43And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. 44And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men. WHEN GOD MULTIPLIES AND INCREASES YOUR RESOURCES, DON’T BE WASTEFUL John 6:12-13 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. 13Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten. He said to the disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.” Though He had all the resources of heaven at His command, He would not suffer even a morsel of bread to be wasted. [5] – {Child Guidance p. 135.3} Money has great value, because it can do great good. In the hands of God’s children it is food for the hungry, drink for the thirsty, and clothing for the naked. It is a defense for the oppressed, and a means of help to the sick. But money is of no more value than sand, only as it is put to use in providing for the necessities of life, in blessing others, and advancing the cause of Christ. – {Christ Objekt Lessons p. 351.3} But Christ sanctions no lavish or careless use of means. His lesson in economy, “Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost,” is for all His followers. (John 6:12.) He who realizes that his money is a talent from God will use it economically, and will feel it a duty to save that he may give. – {Christ Objekt Lessons p. 352.2} Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭ “Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me. I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Proverbs‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬ ‭ “The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.” ‭‭ Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭38‬ ‭ “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”” ‭‭ ‭‭
