Summer is a great time for a lot of different things.  Vacations, pools, sports, sleep-overs, etc...  But, one of the best things about summer is that opportunity for kids to get jobs!  Now, we understand that many kids won't see this as a great opportunity, but during this show, Linda and Merrill explain why jobs are so beneficial to your kids.  

Jobs not only provide a potential source of income, but they also provide opportunities to teach your kids so much more than what they can learn in the school environment.  Learning to keep a work schedule, being responsible to an employer, working with others, learning how to treat customers, learning new skills, and getting life experiences.  These are the important things that help our kids explore and learn more about themselves and their likes and dislikes.  

So, for this summer, insist that your kids have age appropriate Summer jobs.
