The MAP boys catch up with Dr. Aaron Goodson, Athletic Director of Counseling and Sport Psychology in the Department of Sports Medicine and Performance at Mississippi State University. Dr. Goodson talks about the importance of creating an environment where the student-athlete takes control of their clinical experience. He discusses the different treatment strategies they use in Starkville and how they use mental skills training and clinical mental health counseling for the MSU student-athletes to facilitate performance enhancement and overall well-being of the student-athletes.
