The Role of Gut Health and Balancing Blood Sugar in Recovery The Importance of Self-Care and Mindset with Michelle Patidar

Published 2 years, 2 months ago
Description

Michelle shares her story of being diagnosed with stage two non-Hodgkin's lymphoma at the age of 32.

Michelle emphasizes the importance of listening to your body and paying attention to warning signs, as well as the need for support and resources after treatment. She also highlights the role of stress management, gut health, and balancing blood sugar in the recovery process. Balancing blood sugar is important for controlling cravings and reducing chronic inflammation. Personalized nutrition is key as everyone's body reacts differently to different foods.

In response to the absence of programs that were available to help her detox and rebuild her health and immunity, she founded Revival Health & Wellness.

As a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Michelle specializes in working with cancer survivors to detox and restore their bodies, as well as with those who have a genetic link or pre-exposure to cancer and want to live a healthy, preventive lifestyle. She serves as a wellness influence and supportive mentor who motivates individuals to cultivate positive food, environmental, and relationship choices to achieve whole-person health.
