This week we continue our series on Masculine Portraits by Female Directors with Lynne Ramsay's "You Were Never Really Here." We begin the episode by gushing over the work of Ramsay, and a discussion of the novella the film is based on by Jonathan Ames. We then break the film down plot point by plot point including trivia along the way. Finally, we each pair the film with another for a pair of double bills.
