Today On Deadline is blazing a trail as we look at the reclassification of Marijuana. Last week, the Biden administration announced that it is passing forward its plans to reclassify marijuana. Currently, marijuana is classified as a Schedule One drug, which the Drug Enforcement Administration defines as a “drug with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse.” However, through a reclassification, marijuana could soon be considered a Schedule three drug.
