Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Vegas-based Jazz Bandleader & Guitarist Stephen Fansler.. He has roots in Manhattan, Kansas and at Kansas State University, along with spending quality time in Kansas City absorbing some good jazz. Based in Las Vegas, Well Tempered Madness is the brainchild of guitarist Steve and is inspired by many different genres and all of the music that he's had the chance to play and by the artists that he has worked with. Two years ago, the band played their first live gigs and the album was recorded last year. We get into this project, his history and much more. Dig it.
