Nobody can force anybody else to take out a loan and borrow money. It is a "means" to an education. A type of investment in oneself to leverage knowledge for higher future earnings. Like any investment, for it to work out, it has to be based in sound economics. But when somebody borrows money to get a degree in "Advanced Communications" or "Women's Studies", it is not likely that the investment will lead to success, unless your President is Joe Biden, who sees an America full of victims. These borrowers made bad decisions and now government is make another bad decision in relieving them of this debt at the expense of the rest of us.
