Reflection of the week: a short note on responding

“To know ourselves, understand ourselves and grow emotionally we need to differentiate between what it means to respond and what it means to react.”

(Sanar el Corazón, Ketan Raventos Klein)

This week I was reading this quote in a great book and it reminded me of the importance for me of a therapeutic process in my experimentation with Human Design. I often catch myself and also see others fall into the trap of using Human Design information to justify developmental defensive stances in life. Whenever we use the information to justify something about ourselves, please take note we’re using the knowledge defensively!
