Professor Emeritus of Francophone Studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Barry Ancelet, tells us about Mardi Gras traditions in more rural parts of Louisiana. Plus we learn about the flambeaux carrier strike of 1946, which led to krewes rolling in the dark.
