NYU Social Psychologist Jonathan Haidt discusses “The Anxious Generation,” his new book that explores the impact of social media on childhood mental health. Limits of screen time, age verification, and delaying smartphone introduction for kids are among Haidt’s suggestions for a safer youth. The Supreme Court has rejected an argument against the funding structure for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau; CFPB Director Rohit Chopra says he’s relieved to get back to work protecting consumers and companies.
