Ella Adler, 15, was wakeboarding on May 11 with a friend when they fell from the boat towing them in Key Biscayne, Florida. Wildlife officers say while Ella was waiting for the boat to pick her up, another boat hit her and failed to stop. Law enforcement launched a massive search for the boat. Ella was a beloved student and member of the Miami Ballet.
