Should the USA Require Athletes to Run at Spring Relay Meets to Be Selected for the Olympic Relay Pool?
At the 2024 World Athletics Relays, a USA Men's 4x100m Team of Courtney Lindsey, Kenny Bednarek, Kyree King and Noah Lyles won Gold in a time of 37.40 seconds, which is one of the fastest times in history. The USA Men have not won a medal in the 4x100m Relay at the Olympics since 2004 and one of the main complaints is the lack of practice throughout the year. Considering this team not only won Gold at World Relays, but has also gotten consistent practice together early in the year, should they remain together as the team through the 2024 Olympics in Paris this summer?
